About Lee’s Paint & Body

Lee Gonzales, the owner of Lee’s Paint & Body, has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years. His passion for cars started at a young age when he would build model cars and take on small jobs to save up money to buy more models. Lee’s family has been in the car business for generations. His uncle on his dad’s side owned a car lot and a couple of junkyards, while his uncle on his mom’s side used to do oval track racing. Lee started working with his brother in a junkyard and for many years sought out any job that focused on cars. After selling parts for Car-Pro auto parts and Crown Dodge, Lee landed a job at Maaco, where he was hired to sand and prep the cars.

Lee was finally able to “get his hands dirty” and as luck would have it, his first mod would be “Misty Blue,” a 1967 Camaro owned by his brother, Eddie. When Eddie asked Lee if he could repaint “Misty Blue,” Lee jumped at the opportunity to help his brother out. This project was a turning point for him, and he had a different vision for a business dealing with cars. That’s what led him to owning a repair shop. Lee got together with a few guys, and they all chipped in to buy a shop. Lee ultimately wanted a place to call his own, so he branched out, and what was once just an idea in the heart of Lee Gonzales became reality when he opened Lee’s Paint & Body.

Today, Lee’s Paint & Body is a successful one-stop restoration and body shop where rusty and wrecked clunkers turn into show-winning works of automotive artistry. Lee’s Paint & Body specializes in automotive collision repair and restorations of classic car’s, hot rod’s, motorcycle’s, antique, luxury, and exotic car’s. They are experts in automotive repair and offer services such as certified appraisals, custom paint, upholstery, paint-less dent removal and hail damage repair. They have certified mechanics on-site and accept insurance claims.
